Lakes & Pines Community Action Council, Inc. is hiring a Financial Programs Assistant for our Mora location
to join our team and complement the overall desire to build financial resiliency among its community members. The Financial Programs Assistant is responsible for meeting the Agency’s mission as a team member in a comprehensive approach to community building by assisting the Financial Programs Coordinator with the implementation and coordination of the financial programs provided by Lakes & Pines CAC, Inc. This position is also responsible for assisting in the recruitment, training and management of Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program volunteers and conducting outreach on the various programs offered by Lakes & Pines, including those related to tax preparation, financial fitness, finances, budgeting and asset building.
Integral to this position is continued support for the mission of the Agency and advocacy for low-income persons.
High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary degree preferred or 3-5 years of experience working in a related field. Position is Part Time, 26-28 hours per week, and temporary late November to mid-May. Starting salary range is $16.59 - $17.24 per hour, depending on qualifications and has a full range of $16.59 - $22.90 per hour. Lakes & Pines is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
