The City of Faribault has an opening in the Police Department for a part-time Records Specialist. This position performs a variety of clerical duties related to confidential police records. Work includes extensive public contact in person, over the phone and email. Duties include data entry and retrieval of data from multiple computerized systems as well as a variety of receptionist and support services.
Position Requirements • Ability to work as a positive member in a team environment. • Possession of or the ability to obtain the MN BCA Terminal Operators Certification within one year of hire; • Two years of related clerical experience. Demonstrated skill in an automated office environment , including applicable computer software; • Or any equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible clerical experience.
