K-8 SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER: Full-time 10-month school year position. • Instructor will work with all special needs students in grades K-8. • Must have knowledge of Special Education Law, I.E.P. Development and Student Support Team Process. • Involvement with Special Education portion of ISEP count. • Ability to work in team approach with regular education/counseling staff assisting mainstreamed students in their education plan.

• Knowledge of life skills, career planning, and adapting Ojibwe culture-based and other curriculum to the Special Education Program.

• Responsible for record-keeping of the aforementioned classes, i.e.: attendance, grade reports, quarterly reports, class scheduling, progress reports, etc.

• Responsible for ordering classroom, curriculum and resource materials. • WI. certification in any of Cross Categorical #1801, Emotional Disabilities #1830 or Learning Disabilities #1811 required.

GIFTED & TALENTED TEACHER: Full-time 10-month position. • Directly responsible to the School Superintendent/K-12 Principal. • Develop, coordinate, and implement program goals and objectives with the Superintendent/K-12 Principal.

• Develop a record-keeping system for documentation and necessary reports to the School Superintendent/K-12 Principal.

• Assists in the development and implementation and analysis of pre/post testing of students in the program.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education with prior experience in Gifted and Talented programs preferred. • Valid Teacher Certification. • At least 3 years of successful classroom experience preferred.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS: All areas as needed. • Licensed teacher or substitute licenses: $120.00/day, $65/half day. • Unlicensed or uncertified: $96.00/day, $50.00/half day.

SUBSTITUTE FOOD SERVICE STAFF: On call, mornings primarily. • $12.00 per hour

SUBSTITUTE SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS: Morning and afternoon runs during school year. • Valid Wisconsin CDL (School Bus Endorsement) license required. • Additional runs include field trips, sports and activity runs required. • Morning and afternoon runs equal 4 runs/day, $25.82/run.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: (All permanent positions) • Background investigation, drug test • Experience working with Native American youth preferred. • Must be supportive of the philosophy, concept, policy and procedures of the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe-Waadookodaading School.
