The City of Orono is seeking applications for a full-time Municipal Services Support Representative. Responsibilities include facilitating excellent customer service, assists with administering licensing and permitting programs, and performs main secretarial duties for departments, boards and commissions. This position reports to the City Clerk and supports the administrative functions for all City departments. The position requires a “service first” mentality, a High School Diploma or equivalent, five years of practical experience, or equivalent combination of education in clerical or office management fields and experience and Notary Public or ability to obtain. Preference will be given to candidates that possess two year or four years post-secondary education in information technology, office management, or related field, work experience in those fields, and can demonstrate critical thinking, solid judgement and decision making skills.
